The Expert Patient Advocacy Academy was launched as an advanced development programme for patient organisation leaders who had previously completed AIPM’s Patient Engagement Academy programmes and represent well-established organisations. The Academy aims to support patient representatives in credibly, confidently, and professionally advocating for patients’ interests in dialogue with healthcare and policy stakeholders. The programme goes beyond theory by combining strategic insight with practical, hands-on preparation for participation in professional forums. It places strong emphasis on effective advocacy and strategic thinking.
