Founded in 1992, the Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM) brings together 27 research- and development-oriented pharmaceutical companies in Hungary, which account for more than 50% of the domestic pharmaceutical market. Our member companies are key players in the global pharmaceutical industry, with strong international backgrounds and extensive research capabilities.

Our member companies play a pioneering role in improving health and quality of life by discovering and developing new, innovative medicines that represent significant progress in treating diseases that are either untreated or inadequately managed. 

AIPM member companies actively contribute to the development of the Hungarian healthcare system: they play a significant role in clinical research, support medical education, and collaborate with policymakers to ensure faster and broader patient access to innovative therapies. In addition, they are important economic actors, creating high value-added jobs and contributing to Hungary’s competitiveness.
