The AIPM conference explored what changes are needed to create a more predictable, modern and higher-quality Hungarian healthcare system. The event focused on healthcare financing, the health status of the population, prevention and health education, as well as access to innovative therapies. One of the main messages of the conference was that resources devoted to healthcare and innovation should not simply be regarded as expenditure, but as a long-term investment in people’s quality of life, the country’s competitiveness and its economic future.
